                   Thyme is a small perennial of the mint family and is the dried leaves of Thymus

                   vulgarism.  This eighteen inches tall plant with it small flowers are very attractive to

                   honey bees.

                   Thyme is part of bouquet garni, herbs de Provence, and the Middle East spic blend

                    Zahtar, along with curry blends.  It is mainly used in game, fish, stuffings, stews and

                   other meats.  Thyme is characterized by its minty-green, musty and hay-like flavor.

                   Thyme is mainly imported from Spain and France.  It is original from Greece where it

                   symbolized courage.  They used it in their water when they bath to gain vigor, courage

                   and strength.
